KTZ Express continues to expand export container transportation along the transatlantic route. In March 2026, the KTZ Express branch “KTZE Severny” organized the shipment of 24 tons of wheat flour produced in Kazakhstan along the Kostanay – New York route using the infrastructure of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor).

The shipper is Salamat Company LLP, the largest flour milling enterprise in Kazakhstan and an industry leader in Central Asia.

The transportation is carried out in a containerized multimodal format, sequentially using railway and maritime infrastructure.

KTZ Express organized the first mile, including cargo containerization and delivery from Kostanay to the Port of Aktau. From there, the cargo is shipped across the Caspian Sea to the Port of Alat (Azerbaijan) and then transits through the Black Sea via the Port of Poti (Georgia).

The maritime route then continues via Istanbul to the Mediterranean Sea, followed by a transatlantic crossing with direct delivery to the Port of New York.

Sea transportation along this segment is carried out in cooperation with one of the world’s largest shipping companies - CMA CGM. The estimated transit time is approximately 58 days.

The new shipment of Kazakh flour via the Middle Corridor route continues the successful export deliveries and confirms the growing interest of international partners in Kazakhstan agricultural products.

KTZ Express ensures full control of the transportation process from the first mile to the final destination, demonstrating the reliability and transparency of the logistics chain and the efficiency of the route for entering new global markets.
